Aurident’s
Radiance dentin modifiers consist of extremely small,
submicron particles in a slurry that allows the dental
technician to precisely modify their restorations exactly were
needed to increase hue, chroma and luminance. The increased
properties are due to the nature of these nano-sized particles
in that they have refractive indices that create brilliance in
the system and very intense colorizations. TMT dentin
modifiers can be used in conjunction with other layers (opaques,
dentins, incisals etc.) to enhance and improve the color of
the system. Unlike stains, the colors diffuse into the
porcelain layers so that are not removed during polishing.
Consequently TMT systems combined with the overall porcelain
properties provides several critical advantages:

-
Thin
Membrane Nanotechnology allows the dental technician to
achieve superior results in thin restorations due to the
very high chroma of the dentin and to attain the desired
results with less effort for either porcelain fused to metal
or Press-i-dent pressable ceramic applications.
-
Combining
Thin Membrane Nanotechnology with traditional layering
techniques within the Radiance system allows the technician
to control the desired hues, chroma, and fluorescence
immediately without any guesswork.
-
Thin
Membrane Nanotechnology ceramic’s pre-mixed colors allow the
technician to achieve uniform, consistent color renditions
time after time and from lot to lot.
-
Thin
Membrane Nanotechnology generated colors tend to diffuse
into the various ceramic layers resulting in
outstanding color properties throughout the
porcelain.
